Survive & Thrive Expeditions

Since its launch in 2009, STE has been running expeditions and adventure tours for Cancer survivors. They have turned their expeditions into films and presentations, and tour across North America presenting to medical professionals and other survivors. The original logo – that I designed in 2009 – needed to be more professional and less “camping trip”. The “bonhomme” character was simplified and integrated into the form of the logo, and a new logotype was created using the Gotham type family.

The new website was built on top of a Premium WordPress Theme to be as inexpensive as possible. From the standard theme, a new customized theme was created by altering the existing HTML and CSS. This allowed the site to be made for much less than a completely custom theme built from the ground up.
